Grenade Games

The Grenerds ventured to the Great Northwest this weekend for the Third Annual Grenade Games celebration. Although weather reports claimed rain, the day was sunny and prime for the day’s festivities.

Gnu Girls USASA Results

The 2007 USASA Nationals went down at Northstar, and the Gnu Girls were charging.
Women's Open Halfpipe: Congratulations to Lizzy Beerman for taking the gold on the B-Nice mtx, and Kaitlyn Farrington for pushing that competition to a new level and landing in 5th on the B-Pro. These girls are the future, and getting better everyday.  Look out!  Both Lizzy and Kaitlyn rode well in slopestyle too, with Lizzy in 5th and Kaitlyn 13th.  I had the pleasure of watching these girls ride, and they have so much natural style... I'm inspired.
Youth Women HP:
Millie Chapman really well in a huge field of girls and placed 8th on the B-Street.  Millie is an east coast charger not afraid of ice... or the 6 inches of slush that was on the courses at Northstar.  She charged all week and placed 6th in Slalom too.
Caty Oconnor got 2nd in the Slalom.  I took some runs through the park with Caty and she rules. Rides the B-pro and is So smooth.  She knows how to use her edges and race, I like that.  But, she also knows how to ride rails, boxes, and avoid her edges like I wish I could.

La Freq Week

The first ever La Freq Week went down at Baldface with smiles all around. Barrett Christy and Megan Pischke were present to share in the stoke and pass on some powder riding tips.
